The NFD03.1-480-030 is a passive mains filter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the NFD Mains Filters series. Installed between the plant supply and drive packages, the device suppresses differential and common-mode noise so that frequency converters, servo drives, and other switching loads can meet electromagnetic compatibility limits. By reducing conducted interference, it shields sensitive control electronics and prevents disturbances from propagating back onto the utility grid in automated production lines. This helps nearby PLCs, sensors, and communication hardware operate with fewer line-borne disturbances when multiple drives switch at high frequency.

The unit accepts a nominal connection voltage of 480 VAC (+10%) and is designed for a nominal mains current of 30 A, which is also its maximum continuous load at 45 °C.
