The NFD02.2-480-030 is a passive three-phase mains filter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the NFD Mains Filters series. It is installed ahead of servo drives, inverters, or power-supply modules to suppress radio-frequency noise, protect upstream equipment, and improve conducted electromagnetic compatibility on industrial automation lines. By inserting impedance across each line conductor, the filter reduces differential and common-mode disturbances that might otherwise propagate onto the plant mains. This helps limit interference between switching equipment and other devices connected to the same supply network.
Electrically, the filter is rated for AC 480 V +10% on a three-phase supply, which aligns with common North American motor distribution systems. Under continuous operation, it carries a rated mains current of 30 A, with internal inductive and capacitive elements matched to that load. Steady-state power dissipation is only 14 W, which helps keep thermal rise low and keeps cabinet airflow requirements modest. The housing has an IP10 rating, so the unit is finger-safe but still intended for installation inside an enclosure.
