The NFD01.1-500-180 is an intelligent mains filter designed by Rexroth Indrmat to improve the productivity of industrial machines by preventing high-frequency signals generated by the industrial motor during deceleration from reaching the power line. This mains filter is usually operated in combination with a mains choke to form a highly effective protective unit. The NFD01.1-500-180 mains filter operates with an efficiency as high as 95 percent under normal operating conditions, the filter also helps to reduce electrical interference in the industrial servo system. This filter is also optimally coordinated with the power unit of the servo system, it is also scalable with regards to the current, number of drives, and motor cable length it can be operated with.
The enclosure of the NFD01.1-500-180 mains filter is specially structured to allow for the easy integration of the filter into the servo system. At a rated input voltage of 400 volts, this converter generates a power output of about 61 watts. The rated electrical current required by this filter for optimum operation is about 180 Amperes. This mains filter is a highly durable device, it features a housing unit that meets the IP20 protection class and can thus prevent the penetration of solid foreign particles higher than 12 millimeters into the servo drive.
