Featuring a frame of size D which is one of the largest frame sizes in the MST series of torque motors, the MST530D-0012-FT-N0SN-NNNN from Rexroth is a 22 kW torque motor having a current draw rating of 64 amperes. The stator on this motor comes with a laminated core to help generate electromagnetic fields efficiently and also to help reduce eddy current losses. This motor comes with a winding resistance of 0.52 ohms and inductance of 7.5 mH.

The MST series of motors are perfect for direct drive applications as well as rotary tables since they are capable of generating a lot of torque compared to an average servo motor. This particular motor model can generate a rated torque of 2400 Nm while spinning at the speed of 100 rpm. At the maximum speed of 200 rpm, this motor is able to generate a maximum torque of 4700 Nm. This motor is compatible with digital servo control modules such as DIAX and ECODRIVE series control modules both are manufactured and designed by Rexroth.

This motor is German-designed and graded and has been tested according to the German standards of EN60034-1 standards that ensure that this motor can be operated under safe conditions and environments as long as the temperature remains below 45 degrees Celsius. This motor is also rated for noise pollution and has a low noise rating of 75 dB. The motor does not come with an IP protection rating and hence should be kept in an enclosed box or in a closed environment. The shaft of this motor is a plain smooth shaft design easy for torque transmission and also features a shaft seal ring.
