Product Description
For applications that require a high rotational torque, the MST290B-0018-FT-N0SN-NNNN from Rexroth's IndraDyn T series is a perfect option as it can offer a nominal torque rating of up to 220 Nm while drawing a power rating of 4.1 kW along with a current need of 14.8 amperes. This torque motor can operate on a range of voltages from 179 volts AC all the way up to 475 volts AC and supports a poly-phase option as it comes with 30 pole pairs of rotation. The input voltage frequency for this motor is rated at 50 to 60 Hz.
This motor should be mounted in areas that are well and protected as this motor does not come protected with an IP rating however the housing of this motor is made of robust materials that can help it survive extreme heat and weather. The motor is corrosion-protected, however, it is not recommended to allow this motor to come in contact with water of any kind as it may end up affecting the internals of the motor which may cause it to corrode over time.
This motor is also able to provide a maximum torque of 700 Nm which is very impressive at the speed of 350 rpm while drawing up to 60 amperes of current which is very reasonable considering the output torque is very high and impressive as well. The efficiency rating of this motor allows it to produce around 14.7 Nm of torque per ampere of current which is the true constant ratio. For every 1000 rpm of speed, this motor is able to generate a voltage of 1.64 volts which is the voltage constant of this motor.
