Internal Product Review
The MST210D-0070-FT-N0CN-D301 is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat synchronous torque motor with 150 Nm rated torque and 700 rpm rated speed. Strong electromagnetic design is evident in the 4.70 Nm/A torque constant and 6.9 mH winding inductance, supporting controlled low-speed torque production. A 300 Nm maximum torque gives this motor excellent overload capability for demanding direct-drive applications.

Product Description:
The MST210D-0070-FT-N0CN-D301 is a frameless synchronous torque motor element manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MST Synchronous Torque Motors series. It mounts directly to a rotary load and generates torque without gears, making it suitable for indexing tables, rotary axes, and similar automation modules. When integrated with a compatible rotor ring, the stator’s winding set delivers continuous rotary motion and precise positioning while removing the backlash, lubrication, and wear associated with mechanical transmissions.
Under nominal conditions, the stator produces a continuous output torque of 150 Nm at a rated speed of 700 rpm, corresponding to a mechanical output of 11.00 kW. To reach these figures, the windings draw a rated current of 32 A, while transient acceleration can be supported by a maximum current of 120 A. The copper conductors are routed through a 6.0 mm² power lead that is matched to an AWG 10 connection wire size, minimizing voltage drop between the drive and stator. Heat generated during operation is removed by an internal coolant channel that holds 0.21 l of liquid, and the motor’s discharge capacity of 13.3 nF provides a path for static charges to return to ground.
Additional electrical parameters define intermittent limits and control response. The stator can deliver a peak torque of 300 Nm when energized, a value derived from its torque constant of 4.70 Nm/A. Current rise and commutation stability are influenced by a winding inductance of 6.9 mH together with a winding resistance of 1.4 Ω, both of which the drive must accommodate during vector control. At full rated load, the winding set dissipates 3.40 kW of power, so the stator mass of 13.8 kg provides thermal inertia until coolant flow removes heat. Lead insulation is sized to a diameter of 4.68 mm ± 0.2 mm to fit cable glands and maintain creepage distances in the machine enclosure.
