Product Description:
The MSS382B-0025-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a liquid-cooled stator package from Bosch Rexroth Indramat that belongs to the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As an open kit motor component, it is intended for direct integration into high-torque rotary axes where the machine builder provides the frame and rotor. In industrial automation, this part delivers torque density without its own housing, allowing compact servo stages inside printing presses, converting lines, or similar continuous-duty equipment. Because the frame and rotor are supplied separately, the stator can be built into custom machine structures where a conventional housed motor would take up more space. This format is commonly used where compact machine geometry and continuous torque output are more important than a fully enclosed motor body.
It has an open kit motor design and an IP00 degree of protection, so environmental sealing must be provided by the surrounding machine enclosure. The power lead uses 2 x 16.0 mm² conductors, which helps limit resistive losses at rated current, and the phase cores terminate through a connection cable supplied by the factory. Temperature feedback is provided by a KTY84-130 sensor embedded in the winding, and a ground connection is available through an M8 thread with a depth of 16 mm. Cooling requires a flow of 9.2 l/min across the internal jacket, and the circuit has a pressure drop of 1.0 bar during operation. The exposed assembly is intended for protected installation inside the host machine rather than use as a standalone motor.
The stator tolerates a maximum coolant supply pressure of 6 bar. The two axial coolant ports use different thread types: port A is G 1/2, and port B is M30 x 1.5. Mechanical attachment uses 18 per front face locating holes arranged around the bore, and each hole accepts an M8 screw to a depth of 16 mm. These ports and mounting points provide the required fluid and fastening interfaces for installation.
