The MSS202B-0210-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a stator assembly manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As a spindle motor kit component, it provides the stationary winding system that produces the rotating magnetic field needed for high-precision machine-tool spindles and other automated machining axes. The product is delivered as a bare stator so machine builders can integrate it with a compatible rotor and bearing pack inside a liquid-cooled housing, allowing compact drive solutions in industrial automation.

This stator operates at a nominal speed of 2100 rpm, matching the torque curve required for mid-range spindle duties. Heat generated in the windings is extracted through liquid cooling. A stator-cooling jacket surrounds the lamination stack, and the cooling ports are positioned axially to simplify piping inside the spindle housing. The unit has an IP00 protection rating because it is intended to be enclosed by the machine builder’s frame. The windings use Class F insulation, allowing the copper to withstand temperatures up to 155 °C without losing dielectric strength. An axial power lead, supplied as a 1.5 m flying-lead cable, exits the rear of the stator to reduce electromagnetic coupling with resolver or sensor wiring.

The coolant inlet has a G 1/4 thread, while the outlet has an M22 × 1.5 thread, providing clear separation between the supply and return lines. The permissible ambient temperature range is 0 to +40 °C, allowing installation in standard factory environments without additional climate control. The 202 motor frame size establishes the lamination diameter, while frame-length code B establishes the axial envelope that the machine housing must accommodate. Winding variant 0210 provides resistance and inductance characteristics suitable for IndraDrive controllers. Because the stator does not include an encoder, an external feedback device can be selected to meet the position accuracy and response requirements of the spindle system.
