Product Description:
The MSS200C-015-A1N-NN is a stator supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As an open kit motor component, it is intended for direct integration into high-speed spindle assemblies where the machine builder embeds the windings and magnetic circuit inside a custom housing. Within automated machining centers, this stator generates a rotating field that drives the matching rotor, delivering the precise torque and speed control required for positioning, milling, or grinding tasks.
This stator must withstand significant magnetic pull produced by the permanent magnets. Along the shaft, the axial attractive force is rated at 490 N, while the bearing seats must cope with a radial load of 1096 N. Liquid cooling is routed through the machine manifold, and the internal passages accept a maximum supply pressure of 6 bar; higher pressure could damage the winding jacket or seals. Thermal endurance is provided by an insulation system classified as Class F, permitting winding temperatures up to 155 °C without loss of dielectric strength. When the motor is operating under typical load, airborne noise remains at or below 75 dB(A), allowing installation in production areas that follow standard industrial sound limits.
Power conductors are sized for AWG 8 and leave the winding bundle through flexible leads with a sheath diameter of 22 mm; these dimensions guide the selection of terminals and strain-relief hardware. Continuous operation is permitted within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 °C, so the surrounding equipment must maintain suitable operating conditions. The stator does not have its own enclosure and therefore carries a protection rating of IP00, meaning the machine builder must provide guarding against contact and contamination. A KTY84-130 silicon sensor embedded in the slots supplies temperature feedback to the drive controller. This feedback allows the controller to reduce output or shut down the motor if excessive winding temperature is detected.
