Product Description:
The MSS162B-0200-FA-N0CN-NNNN is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. It is an open-kit stator that belongs to a three-phase synchronous drive set intended for direct integration in custom machine frames. When combined with its matching rotor, the unit creates high torque density without couplings or gearboxes. This direct-drive arrangement can reduce backlash and compliance in axes that demand precise speed and position control in semiconductor, printing, and general automation equipment where footprint and dynamic accuracy are critical.
Magnetic loading places clear demands on the surrounding mechanical support. The axial attractive force reaches 310 N, while the radial component rises to 960 N; both values must be countered by the surrounding bearing structure. Six stator fixing holes on the front face accept bolts that engage a thread depth of M6 / 12 mm deep and provide a repeatable clamping surface for the machine frame. Environmental sealing is not provided because the stator carries a IP00 degree of protection, so the host machine must supply a clean, dry compartment. Internal winding temperature can be monitored with the external sensor pocket that fits a KTY84-130 device, and an additional SNM.150.DK.* protective sensor can be wired for overtemperature shutdown.
Liquid cooling maintains permissible copper temperature during continuous operation. A flow of 2.0 l/min across the embedded channels is recommended, introduced through a supply fitting with a M16 × 1 mount thread and discharged at the return port threaded G 1/8. The cooling circuit may be pressurized up to 6 bar; at the stated flow rate, the pressure drop is 1.6 bar, which allows compact circulation hardware to be used. Ground continuity is achieved by a dedicated M6 × 12 mm grounding thread located beside the stator stack, and six identical threads on the rear face replicate the primary fixing pattern for alternative mounting directions.
