Product Description:
The MSS142F-0400-FA-N0CN-M500 is an IndraDyn H synchronous motor section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As an open stator-and-winding assembly, the unit is intended for direct integration into liquid-cooled machine frames where compact, high-torque motion is required. Once combined with a compatible rotor and feedback device, it becomes the electromechanical source for positioning axes, presses, and spindle drives used in automated manufacturing cells.
The factory-installed motor cable exits axially and is supplied in a length of 1.5 m; its molded jacket measures 22.0 mm in outer diameter, providing mechanical protection for the three-phase power cores and sensor pairs. Heat generated in the windings is removed through a liquid-cooled jacket that couples to the machine’s coolant network. The primary inlet is tapped with a G 1/8 thread, and flow must be maintained below 6 bar to protect the internal seals. This cooling scheme keeps copper temperatures stable and permits higher continuous torque density than air-cooled stators of similar size.
A return port machined with an M16 x 1 thread completes the closed loop and mates to standard metric fittings. Because the stator is supplied without an enclosure, its overall assembly carries an IP00 rating and relies on the host machine for environmental shielding. Power is delivered through conductors with a cross-section of 16.0 mm², while auxiliary Snm150 and Sts1 pairs use 2 × 0.5 mm² and 2 × 0.25 mm² leads, respectively, to carry temperature and status signals. The winding package follows an open kit motor design, and no encoder is mounted, leaving feedback selection to the machine builder. Cooling connectors are arranged axially beside the electrical exit so plumbing and cabling can be routed in a single service bundle.
