The MSM040B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 is a synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Group. The motor is found in the MSM product group category. Like most MSM motors, it should be stored in temperature range of -20 and 60 degrees and operated in temperature range between -20 and 80 degrees. Its maximum installation elevation is 1000M above sea level. The humidity both in storage and operation should range between 5 and 95%. Icing and moisture condensation should be mitigated to avoid motor damage. The motor meets several certification such as UL and CSA that make it a perfect fit for NFPA 79 applications.

The MSM040B-0300-NN-M0-CG0 also features some of the basic features such IP54 protection category, compact design, dynamic response, and connectors for power and encoder connection. The motor has 5 main coating materials namely anodized aluminum, rubber, polyvinyl chloride resin, polyamide 46, and uncoated aluminum diecasting.
