Product Description

Bosch Rexroth manufactures the MSM019B-0300-NN-M5-ML0 that is equipped with Device Net, a master communication module that enables the motor to perfume well in systems with numerous-axis devices. The MSM motor has a low power range of 100 to 750 W and is connected to a three-phase connection at 3 x 240 V or Single-phase connections at 1 x 240 V. Different components are used with the spindle motor to enhance its performance. The motor components are purchased separately and include the following: master communication cards, battery for the absolute encoder, cables (motor, encoder, RS232), external braking resistor, mounting accessories, and transformer. An external DC24V voltage controller or NTM power supply unit is used to protect the MSM motor from a possible overvoltage in the supply line.

The MSM019B-0300-NN-M5-ML0 uses controllers ranging from 100 W, 200 W, 400 W, or 750 W. The controller’s for the motor type is dependent on the load and the operation intended. Motors using absolute encoders require a battery to back-up the encoder signals. The batteries are fitted into the drive controller. The servo motor should be stored and transported in temperature ranging from °C -20 ... +80 and kept away from excessive dirt which may affect the function of the motor and, in an extreme case, may lead to a failure of the motor. Recommended operation temperatures should not exceed 40°C and installations of 1000m above the ground.

The MSM motor different outputs correspond to RS422 specs. Connections on the motor side require a termination resistor, and if not used an external resistance of 150 - 180 Ohm can be added. To prepare the cables, proceed as follows: use connection cables that are per the DIN EN50170 / 2 editions 1996. Strip the cable. Insert both cores into the screw terminal block. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
