The MSM019A-0300-NN-M0-CH1 is a synchronous motor of the IndraDyn S generation manufactured by the Rexroth Bosch Group. This motor belongs to the MSM series. Basic features of MSM series motors are the dynamic response and compliance with IP54 safety standards. The materials used for this motor are polyvinyl chloride resin, Aluminum and Polyamide 46. By the help of these materials oil resistance with the standards of JIS C 3005 is attained.  The mass of this motor is 0.32kg.

The MSM019A-0300-NN-M0-CH1 can operate with continuous power of 50kW with a maximum speed of 5000 rpm. The motor’s nominal torque with which it normally delivers the power is 0.16 Nm or 0.12 ft-lb. It has a nominal current of 1.1A and maximum torque of 0.48 Nm or 0.35 ft-lb. The prominent feature of this MSM series motor is its holding brakes, which have an external power supply and holding torque is 0.29 Nm with 20ms release delay.

The application advantage of this motor lies in its encoder, which is single turn. It has  a 17bit encoder resolution. There are two types of connections that are required at the time of motor operation: a power connection and encoder connection. In MSM series, the performance cable length and connector is 200mm by 70mm. The encoder cable length and connector is 230mm by 63mm according to the factory specification INS0758. The winding of this motor is ‘0300’ type and the cooling mode of the motor is natural convection. The shaft of this motor is plain without the sealing ring of the shaft.
