The MRT530D-3N-0410-NNNN is a rotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. It forms the magnetic component of a direct-drive torque motor, converting stator flux into continuous rotation. By eliminating belts and gearboxes, the rotor supports precise, backlash-free motion for indexing tables, extruders, and other automated equipment. This model is supplied in the standard version for general industrial installations where direct coupling and accurate motion control are required.
An internal bore of 410 mm accommodates the associated motor components while maintaining the intended air gap, and the frame size of 530 corresponds to the motor’s mechanical envelope. System responsiveness is affected by a mass moment of inertia of 1.54 kg·m², which influences the torque required for rapid acceleration and deceleration. The assembly is secured to the hub with screws, providing a rigid connection for transmitting torque to the driven machine. Optional liquid cooling can be used because the inlet circuit can withstand pressure up to 6 bar. The rotor has an ingress protection rating of IP00, so it provides no protection against contact, foreign objects, or water. It must therefore be installed inside a fully enclosed machine housing that prevents accidental access and exposure to contaminants.
During operation, the surrounding air temperature must remain within 0 to +40 °C to protect the magnets and bearings from excessive thermal stress. Coolant entering the stator jacket must stay within +5 to +40 °C to remove heat while reducing the risk of condensation. During storage, the rotor can tolerate ambient temperatures from -25 to +55 °C, allowing it to remain in an unpowered state across a broad temperature range. During transportation, the permitted ambient temperature range increases to -25 to +70 °C. The rotor should remain protected from moisture, impact, and contamination while it is stored or transported. Proper temperature control during operation also helps preserve magnetic performance and bearing condition throughout the rotor’s service life.
