As the rotating element of a torque motor, it couples directly to machine shafts or tables and delivers continuous torque for position-controlled automation equipment such as rotary indexers. The rotor must be paired with a compatible stator to create a direct-drive system for industrial motion platforms, eliminating the need for mechanical transmission components between the motor and the driven load.
The mechanical frame size is 530, and the internal rotor bore measures 410 mm, providing clearance for large through-shafts or internal cable routing. The rotor has a moment of inertia of 0.92 kg·m², which must be considered when setting acceleration and deceleration rates for rapid positioning cycles.
