Product Description:
The MRT450E-3N-0350-BNNN is a rotor component produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. As the rotating element of an MBT torque motor, it transfers electromagnetic torque directly to machine tables or spindles without mechanical gear reduction, allowing accurate operation at low speeds. In automated machinery, this direct-drive layout enables precise positioning for indexing tables, printing cylinders, or coil winders while keeping vibration and backlash low. Eliminating an intermediate gearbox also reduces the number of mechanical interfaces between the motor and the driven equipment.
The rotor follows the series mechanical envelope with a frame size of 450, and its outside dimension matches the stator housing while establishing the required mounting clearances. Inside that frame, the laminated core has an internal diameter of 350 mm, leaving room for through-shaft arrangements or utility cabling. Dynamic response is influenced by a rotational inertia of 1.01 kg·m², which affects how quickly the drive can accelerate or brake the connected load. No housing is supplied, and the IP00 protection level means the machine enclosure must protect the component from dust, contact, and liquids. During assembly, the rotor is centered and secured with screws, allowing repeatable attachment to the hub without adhesives or heat-shrink procedures.
Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 0 to +40 °C. During sealed transportation, the permissible temperature range is -25 to +70 °C, while long-term storage is allowed from -25 °C to +55 °C. Liquid cooling circuits may be connected, but the inlet pressure must not exceed 6 bar. Coolant should enter at a temperature from +5 to +40 °C to maintain suitable operating temperatures. These limits must be considered when the rotor is installed in a closed machine enclosure or used in an axis equipped with a chilled-water cooling system.
