Product Description:
The MRT450D-3N-0350-BNNN is a rotor element produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. As the rotating core of a torque motor, it works with a stator to deliver direct-drive motion in indexing tables, printing cylinders, and other precision platforms. This part is supplied alone, without a housing or windings, so machine builders can pair it with a matching stator and integrate liquid cooling to achieve continuous high torque in confined spaces.
Safe operation requires an ambient temperature from 0 to +40 °C; outside this range, magnet flux and bearing grease life are reduced. An internal rotor diameter of 350 mm leaves ample clearance for the stator while establishing the magnetic gap. The mechanical frame size of 450 sets the external mounting circle and aligns with standard IndraDyn T stator kits. Coolant routed through the machine frame may enter at pressures up to 6 bar; maintaining this limit prevents seal extrusion and uneven flow. With a rotor inertia of 0.64 kg·m², drive controllers can reach the rated speed quickly while maintaining accurate positioning and balancing responsiveness with load stability. The rotor is fastened to its hub by screws to preserve concentricity during acceleration cycles.
Liquid entering the cooling circuit must remain between +5 and +40 °C so thermal expansion remains predictable and the stator winding insulation stays within its thermal class. The open construction carries a protection rating of IP00; therefore, shielding and airflow management must be provided at the machine level to keep fingers, dust, and coolant from contacting energized parts. During warehouse storage, the rotor withstands temperatures from -25 to +55 °C. During transportation, it withstands temperatures from -25 to +70 °C without losing its magnetic properties.
