Delivered as an open stator-rotor kit, the unit is intended for direct integration into rotary tables, printing drums, or gearless spindle drives where high continuous torque and precise electrical commutation are required. By eliminating a housing and bearings, the motor allows machine builders to embed synchronous drive capability directly into the host structure and streamline overall drivetrain complexity.
Its mechanical limit speed reaches 1400 rpm, which is the maximum permitted speed before centrifugal stresses exceed the motor's design margins. Because the assembly is an open kit, its protection rating is IP00, so the machine frame must provide an enclosure and suitable cooling. A minimum air gap of 0.30 mm between the rotor and stator must be maintained to avoid contact caused by thermal expansion.
