The MRT450B-3N-0350-BNNN rotor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. This unit belongs to the MBT torque motor platform and consists only of the rotating element, which is delivered separately from the stator for mounting on large-diameter hubs. Inside an automation cell, it converts electromagnetic force into direct shaft torque without mechanical gear reduction, supporting precise positioning at low speeds. The separate rotor and stator arrangement also allows the motor components to be integrated directly into specialized machine assemblies where a conventional motor housing would occupy excessive space.
The rotor fits a mechanical frame size of 450, providing a predictable outer envelope for the surrounding housing. Its magnet ring has an internal active diameter of 350 mm, allowing it to surround a substantial through-bore for cables, shafts, or media ducts. Because the rotor is supplied as an uncovered magnet ring, it has an enclosure rating of IP00. The completed machine installation must therefore provide suitable guarding against contact, dust, and stray ferromagnetic debris.
