The MRT360D-3N-0260-BNNN is a rotor section engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. As the rotating element of an MBT torque motor, it works with a matched stator to generate the high torque needed at low speeds for indexing tables, rotary transfer machines, and print cylinders. Water-cooled construction permits compact direct-drive systems that eliminate gearboxes and reduce mechanical losses, allowing precise continuous-duty operation with fewer maintenance requirements. The direct-drive arrangement also reduces backlash between the motor and the driven equipment, which supports accurate positioning during repeated motion cycles.
Its mechanical geometry includes an internal rotor diameter of 260 mm, creating a central passage for cables, media lines, or shafting. The unit conforms to frame size 360, matching the physical envelope of the corresponding IndraDyn T stators. A moment of inertia of 0.27 kg·m² establishes the acceleration current that the drive must supply during rapid position changes. The IP00 rating indicates that the rotor itself has no protection against dust or fluids and must operate inside a fully enclosed motor housing. During idle periods, the assembly can be stored at temperatures from -25 to +55 °C, while transportation temperatures may range from -25 to +70 °C without harming the laminations or adhesive bonds. During operation, the surrounding air should remain between 0 and +40 °C so magnet remanence and winding insulation stay within their intended limits. Maintaining the permitted coolant temperature and inlet pressure helps prevent excessive thermal expansion during continuous operation.
