Product Description:
The MRT291D-3N-0200-NNNN is a rotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. Serving as the rotating core of a frameless torque motor, it delivers direct-drive rotation without a mechanical transmission, enabling high-precision positioning in rotary tables, printing cylinders, and winders. Combined with matching stator rings and IndraDrive power stages, the rotor supplies continuous torque over its full circumference, providing backlash-free motion and fast changes in direction within tightly controlled production lines. Its hollow construction also leaves a clear center passage for utility routing or feeding parts through the motor.
The rotor has an internal bore of 200 mm, which permits shafts, cables, or pneumatic lines to pass through its center. The surrounding steel stack has a frame size of 291, allowing it to interface directly with IndraDyn T stators of the corresponding diameter. Its reflected inertia is 0.116 kg·m², giving the drive predictable load characteristics and allowing acceleration profiles to be adjusted without excessive overshoot. Axial retention is provided by screws, avoiding heat-shrink assembly and simplifying removal during maintenance. The unit is supplied as the standard version without special balancing, a rust-resistant coating, or oversized key seats. It is intended for use as the rotor in a compatible torque motor assembly with the required pole count.
Cooling water may enter at pressures up to 6 bar and at temperatures from +5 to +40 °C to maintain stable magnet and adhesive properties. During operation, the surrounding air must remain within 0 to +40 °C; external temperature control is required outside this range. For storage, the rotor withstands temperatures from −25 °C to +55 °C. During transportation, it tolerates temperatures from −25 °C to +70 °C without loss of magnetization. Because the assembly has an IP00 protection rating, it must be installed inside a sealed machine housing that prevents contact with internal components and protects the assembly from contamination. The surrounding stator jacket removes heat from the assembled motor during operation.
