Product Description:
The MRT290B-3N-0200-NNNN rotor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. Acting as the active rotating element inside a multipole torque motor, it converts stator-generated magnetic flux into shaft torque without gears or couplings. This direct-drive capability is used in rotary positioning tables, plastic injection molds, and printing cylinders, where precise angular repeatability, compact installation depth, and low maintenance are important to cycle-time performance.
The rotor has a frame size of 290, providing a 290 mm square reference that aligns with the matched stator housing. A hollow shaft with an internal diameter of 200 mm allows power cables, pneumatic lines, or cooling hoses to pass through the center of the machine, while the outside diameter of 210 mm fits inside standard bearing journals. The axial stack height is limited to 80 mm, allowing integration where axial space is restricted. With a mass of 6.2 kg and a polar inertia of 0.08 kg·m², the component balances dynamic acceleration and torsional stiffness. These characteristics allow the drive system to produce responsive motion without placing an excessive load on the servo amplifier.
Installation uses 12 equally spaced fixing screws to secure the rotor to the machine flange. The fasteners must be ISO 4762 M6 metric cap screws with a strength class of 12.9, which helps maintain clamping force during repeated high-torque cycles. The cooling jacket connected to the stator may be pressurized, and the rotor can operate with a maximum coolant inlet pressure of 6 bar. The permitted ambient temperature ranges from 0 to 40 °C, while the insulation system is rated for 155 °C. Proper control of the coolant pressure and operating temperature helps protect the rotor and nearby motor components from excessive thermal or mechanical stress.
