Product Description:
The MRT210U-3N-0120-NNNN torque motor kit is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. As an open stator-rotor assembly, the unit integrates directly into machine frames where high continuous torque at zero speed is required, such as rotary indexing tables or printing drums. The part is supplied as a frameless kit so the active windings can be positioned around a large through-hole, which simplifies mechanical integration in precision automation cells. Because it is energized directly by the drive, the motor provides smooth motion without gear reduction.
The motor has an open kit design, so the stator arrives without a housing; this corresponds to a degree of protection of IP00, meaning there is no dust or water shielding and enclosure protection must be provided by the machine. Twelve fixing points accept 14 mm of engagement in M6 tapped holes to clamp the laminated stack securely. Rotor excitation comes from permanent magnets bonded to the rotor ring, which supports smooth torque at low speed. Continuous operation is allowed up to 40 °C, and installation altitude can reach 1000 m before derating is required. Below 0 °C, the coil insulation stiffens, so startup should wait until the workspace is warmed.
During installation, ambient moisture must be controlled; the winding insulation is rated for a maximum relative humidity of 75% without condensation, which helps protect dielectric strength during long duty cycles. Acoustic emissions remain below <75 dB(A), a level suitable for use in operator work areas without supplemental acoustic enclosures. When the assembly is shipped or stored, temperature can fall to -20 °C or rise to 80 °C while it is de-energized. These storage limits allow transport and warehouse handling before final integration.
