The MRT210R-3N-0130-M100 is a synchronous direct-drive torque motor section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. Supplied as a rotor-stator kit without an external housing, the unit is embedded into machine frames to provide high torque at zero backlash, replacing geared transmissions in indexing tables, rotary cutters, and similar automated axes. The open format lets machine builders pair the active parts with custom cooling and bearing arrangements, making the component suitable for compact, high-precision motion stages throughout industrial automation systems. Because the active parts are integrated directly into the machine structure, the motor can also suit applications that require a low profile and high torsional rigidity.
An inside rotor diameter of 130 mm leaves a central channel for cables or air lines. The motor has a protection class of IP00, so the surrounding machine must provide the required shielding against contact and contamination. The assembly uses an Open Kit Motor design, which means only the stator windings and permanent-magnet rotor are supplied. Magnetic integrity is supported by bandaged magnets that withstand centrifugal forces during operation. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level. Rotor inertia can vary within a tolerance of ±10%, which should be considered when tuning the drive controller for stable motion.
Continuous service is allowed at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C; above this point, additional cooling is required. Integrated sensors issue a warning at 145 °C and command a stop when the winding reaches 155 °C. These temperature thresholds match the motor's thermal class 155 insulation system. The rotor uses permanent magnets that are secured by screws. This arrangement helps keep the magnetic parts firmly in place during operation, especially in applications with repeated torque reversals or sustained load.
