Product Description:
The MRT210E-3N-0120-NNNN is a rotor kit from Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors series. As an open, frameless torque motor component, it is installed directly into machine structures to deliver high holding torque without gear reduction. The kit is combined with a stator and encoder to provide precise, maintenance-free rotary positioning in semiconductor wafer handlers, indexing tables, and other automated production modules.
The motor design is an open kit motor, meaning the rotor is delivered without a housing so the surrounding frame handles heat dissipation. Its degree of protection is limited to IP00, so the host machine must provide the required sealing. The carrier includes 12 fixing threads, allowing the ring to be clamped to the hub with screw fastening. An inside rotor diameter of 120 mm provides clearance for cables or shafts that pass through the center aperture. Bandaged magnets surround the lamination stack to secure the permanent magnetic material during high-speed rotation. A maximum mechanical speed of 2500 rpm allows direct drive of slow to medium-speed axes without overspeed risk.
Each tapped hole accepts fasteners of M6 x 14 mm, which helps align the rotor to the driven flange and maintain concentricity. The rotor inertia is 0.04200 kg·m² with a permissible manufacturing tolerance of ±10%, allowing drive tuning without wide parameter variation. The embedded permanent magnets generate sinusoidal flux so torque is produced without cogging, while the magnet bandage helps prevent radial growth under centrifugal force. A rotor mass of 7.8 kg helps keep bearing loads moderate when the assembly reaches top speed. Thermal insulation materials rated to 155 (F) support continuous winding temperatures up to 155 °C when the stator is energized.
