Product Description:

The MRT201C-3N-0110-NNNN is a multi-purpose IndraDyn T rotor developed and manufactured by Bosch Indramat Rexroth. With a 3N mechanical construction class, this rotor can be mounted using a set of fixing screws. As a modular rotor component, this product does not come with a case, a cooling system, or a stator. However, it is designed to work seamlessly with MST stators under the IndraDyn T synchronous series. As a synchronous rotor, this unit achieves a consistent speed equal to the generated magnetic field of the stator. The principle behind the conversion of electricity to mechanical energy lies in the ability of the stator to induce a moving magnetic field. This moving magnetic field is what drives the rotor to move as it tries to match the magnetic field lines.

For induction motors, the rotor speed is slightly lower than the speed of the changing field. For synchronous rotors like the MRT201C-3N-0110-NNNN, the speed of the field and rotor are equal. This matching speed is achieved by externally exciting the rotor with a DC source or voltage. For most of Rexroth Bosch’s rotors, the typical DC bus voltage excitation is 540 V. At this nominal bus voltage, the rotor and the stator achieve the nameplate synchronous speed. By applying a higher DC bus voltage, it is possible to achieve higher driving speeds. At an excitation voltage of 750 volts, this rotor can achieve the maximum speed.

Based on its manual, the MRT201C-3N-0110-NNNN has an internal diameter of 110 millimeters and employs a set of matching screws for mounting. Like most other MRT rotors under the IndraDyn T family, this unit incorporates twelve mounting screws with a 30-degree spacing.
