Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MRS382F-2N-0230-M300 rotor subassembly for the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. The unit is intended for high-speed spindle drives used in machining centers, printing cylinders, and other automated systems where smooth, synchronous torque is critical. When paired with the corresponding stator, the rotor’s permanent-magnet structure interacts with controlled drive currents to convert electrical energy into mechanical rotation along the motor axis. This arrangement allows the completed motor to support precise speed regulation under changing spindle loads.
The 382 frame size corresponds to the compatible housing and bearing dimensions used by the surrounding motor assembly. Within this frame, the rotor has a 230 mm bore diameter, providing clearance for the machine shaft and any through-spindle media lines. Installation uses a step interference fit, so the rotor hub is pressed onto the shaft in graduated sections that secure the assembly without additional keys or adhesives. The associated stator uses class F insulation, which permits winding temperatures up to 155 °C while protecting the nearby magnetic components from excessive heat. The rotor has an axial length of 595 mm, providing a known dimension for the motor housing, balancing equipment, and inertia calculations. Proper support and alignment are necessary during assembly because the rotor’s length and press-fit connection affect concentricity at elevated spindle speeds.
The permitted ambient temperature range is 0–40 °C, making the rotor suitable for climate-controlled production areas where thermal stability supports spindle accuracy. Its IP00 rating indicates that the rotor has no independent protection against dust, contact, or fluid intrusion. The completed motor housing must therefore enclose the rotor and prevent contaminants from reaching its magnetic and laminated surfaces. Process lubrication and cooling lines should also be routed so that fluid cannot enter the open rotor area during operation. The frame length code F and specialized bore arrangement accommodate the long rotor body while supporting the required press-fit installation procedure.
