The MRS312F-2N-0160-NNNN is a bare rotor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As the rotating element of a spindle-class synchronous motor, it is paired with a compatible stator to generate torque for high-speed machining centers and other automated motion axes. The rotor operates as part of a complete motor assembly rather than as a standalone device. Its modular IndraDyn H design supports integration with matching stator and spindle housing dimensions across suitable machine configurations.
The rotor can be installed where ambient temperatures remain within 0–40 °C, helping prevent thermal expansion from disrupting the concentric air gap between the rotor and stator. This unit is supplied in the standard design, without optional balancing rings or coolant passages installed. Its frame size of 312 establishes the outer diameter envelope used to select a compatible stator. A machined internal diameter of 160 mm accommodates the shaft sleeve or tool-clamping hardware that can be press-fitted into the bore.
