Internal Product Review
The MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN is an open kit motor from the Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn H synchronous motor line, well suited for high-performance direct-drive applications. IP00 construction and a 75 dB(A) sound pressure limit support clean integration in engineered machine assemblies. A 5290 N radial attractive force stands out as a strong technical advantage for demanding motion systems.

Product Description:
The MRS272B-1N-0135-NNNN is a frameless synchronous torque motor element supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. The unit is delivered as an open kit, meaning the stator and rotor are provided without a protective housing so they can be embedded directly into rotary machinery. This configuration lets machine designers create compact direct-drive axes that dispense with belts or gearboxes, producing high torque at low speed for indexing tables, coil winders, and similar precision equipment.
During operation, the motor must remain within a temperature range from 0 °C to 40 °C; temperatures outside this range can cause thermal expansion or demagnetization that reduces accuracy. Because the design has an IP00 degree of protection, the surrounding enclosure must provide all necessary protection against dust, oil, and accidental contact. Magnetic coupling between the rotor and stator generates a radial attractive force of 5290 N, so the host bearing system must accommodate that constant load without excessive deflection. Acoustic emissions are limited to a sound pressure level of 75 dB(A), which helps the installed machinery meet factory noise requirements. The minimum operating altitude is 0 m, and the motor can sustain its rated torque when adequate ventilation is available.
When the machine is idle, an axial attractive force of 570 N continues to act between the laminations, so the axial bearing preload must be sized accordingly. Long-term storage requires a relative humidity of no more than 95% and a temperature below 60 °C, as higher temperatures can accelerate insulation aging. During transportation, the parts can withstand temperatures from -20 °C to 80 °C and relative humidity up to 75%, provided condensation is prevented. Packaging must protect the exposed laminations from ferrous particles because the open motor design leaves the magnetic circuit unprotected. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level without altitude-related derating of the current or thermal limits.
