The MRS160C-B061-NN is a rotor supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As a kit component, the rotor forms the rotating magnetic-field element of a synchronous spindle motor. Its open arrangement supports direct integration into the shaft assemblies of machine tools and automated spindle systems. This configuration allows the surrounding spindle structure to provide the bearings, feedback devices, and other supporting components required for controlled rotation.
The rotor has a motor size of 160 and an open kit-motor design, meaning it is supplied without a dedicated housing and can be clamped directly inside the spindle drum. Its IP00 protection rating provides no built-in protection against contact, dust, or moisture, so the surrounding machine enclosure must protect the assembly. The mechanical speed limit is 6300 rpm, which is the highest permitted operating speed before centrifugal loading becomes excessive. Insulation class F supports temperatures up to 155 °C in the associated motor insulation system, allowing sustained operation when the rotor is paired with a compatible stator.
