Wake Industrial LLC is not an authorized distributor of this product.
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MRS160A-C075-NN is an open design synchronous motor from the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series with a rotor inner diameter of 75 mm. It can handle an axial attractive force of 370 Newtons and radial attractive force of 138 Newtons. The motor is rated for IP00 protection and operates in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Internal Product Review
The MRS160A-C075-NN is an open kit synchronous motor from the MRS IndraDyn H series, and the design is well suited for integrated motion assemblies. Operation across a 0 to 40 C ambient range and installation up to 1000 m make application planning straightforward. The 370 N axial attractive force stands out as a strong technical advantage for demanding motor integration.

Product Description:
The MRS160A-C075-NN is a modular stator-rotor assembly from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MRS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. As an open kit motor, it is intended for direct integration into machinery where the housing and bearing system are supplied by the machine builder. This arrangement allows the motor to become part of the machine structure rather than a separate enclosed unit. It is used for high-precision rotary axes that need compact installation space and the dynamic response of permanent-magnet synchronous technology. Because the assembly is integrated into the machine, overall axis stiffness and thermal behavior depend on the surrounding mechanical design.
The motor is delivered as an open kit motor design, so its laminations and windings are exposed and must be installed inside a protected machine frame. A protection rating of IP00 means the motor itself does not provide contact or ingress protection. The rotor has an inner bore of 75 mm, which leaves room for through-shaft cabling or pneumatic lines in hollow-shaft arrangements. Magnetic coupling between the stator and rotor creates an axial attractive force of 370 N and a radial attractive force of 138 N, so the host bearing arrangement must absorb those loads. This layout suits direct-drive tables, indexing heads, and torque-tube applications that require center clearance and rigid mechanical support. Careful alignment is important because the exposed active parts do not include a self-contained support frame.
During operation, the surrounding air must remain below 40 °C and above 0 °C. Installation altitude can reach 1000 m without derating, which supports full output at standard plant elevations. Long-term storage is permitted at relative humidity up to 95 %, while inactive storage is also permitted from -20 °C to 60 °C when the motor is not energized. During transportation, the allowable humidity drops to 75 %, and the temperature may range from -20 °C to 80 °C. Keeping the assembly within those operating, storage, and transport limits helps preserve the magnetic and insulation system before installation.
