Product Description:
The MOT-FC-EV2-V1-100L-4-5CA-2,2-A3T-HOY is a cage-rotor induction motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MOT Low Voltage Induction Motors series. Designed for fixed-speed operation on factory-floor equipment, the unit converts three-phase electrical power into continuous mechanical rotation for pumps, gearboxes, or conveyors in automated production cells. Its design supports direct mounting to standard IEC frames, providing a straightforward way to obtain constant torque from the mains without electronic speed control. The motor is suitable for machinery that operates continuously at a stable speed under moderate mechanical loads.
Under nominal conditions, the motor provides 2.20 kW of output when energized by a standard sine-wave supply. With the stator excited at 50 Hz, it turns at 1440 rpm, with the difference between its operating speed and synchronous speed resulting from rotor slip. The shaft continuously delivers 14.6 Nm of torque for moderate-duty material-handling equipment. At this operating point, the windings draw 4.6 A from a 400 V grid supply configured with a Y connection. This electrical arrangement is compatible with common low-voltage switching and protection equipment used in industrial installations.
During short acceleration intervals, the stator can accept 11.5 A, allowing the electromagnetic system to produce a peak torque of 33.0 Nm. At full load, the motor reaches an efficiency of 84.9 %, while its power factor of 0.78 supports the calculation of upstream reactive power requirements. Cooling uses the IC416 forced-ventilation method to remove heat during sustained operation. The rotor inertia is 0.0078 kg·m², providing a moderate response to changes in the connected load. Acoustic emission is limited to 63 dB(A), and the magnetic circuit uses two pole pairs to produce the stated operating speed at 50 Hz.
