Product Description:
The MOT-FC-EV2-B35-225S-4-5CB-0037-C3T-HOY is a low-voltage three-phase induction motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MOT Low Voltage Induction Motors series. It is used in fixed-speed or inverter-fed conveyor lines, pumps, and general machinery where continuous rotation and moderate starting torque are required. As an integrated drive element, the motor converts electrical energy from a 400 V, 50 Hz supply into mechanical shaft power that can be coupled directly to gearboxes or other driven equipment in automated installations.
The motor delivers a rated output of 37.0 kW, so it can supply that level of mechanical power without exceeding thermal limits under nominal operating conditions. A phase current of 67.0 A accompanies this output, so the supply circuit and switching devices must be sized for that demand. Its base speed of 1475 rpm reflects normal loaded operation on a 50 Hz supply with a two-pole-pair stator winding. Full-load efficiency is 0.93, which means 93% of the input electrical power is converted into useful mechanical work while the remaining portion becomes heat. Mechanical attachment uses the IM B35 foot-and-flange arrangement, allowing either base mounting on a bedplate or direct attachment to a machine face.
Cooling is provided by the IC416 ventilation method, which forces air over the motor frame and helps control temperature rise during inverter operation at reduced speed. For infrequent overloads, the stator can draw up to 167.5 A, and the electromagnetic system can withstand a peak torque of 666.0 Nm without slip instability. The enclosure is rated IP55, which protects the interior against dust ingress in harmful amounts and against water jets from any direction. The motor also uses a delta winding connection, and three PTC sensors are embedded in the stator to trigger drive shutdown if the internal temperature rises above the permitted limit.
