Product Description:
The MOT-FC-EV2-B35-160M-4-5CB-11-C3T-HOY is a three-phase induction motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MOT Low Voltage Induction Motors series. It converts electrical power into mechanical rotation for driving pumps, fans, conveyors, and geared machinery in automated production lines. Its electromagnetic design uses two pole pairs and a 50 Hz mains supply, providing a stable shaft speed for fixed-ratio conveyor sections and auxiliary handling axes. The induction design supports continuous industrial operation without requiring permanent magnets or electronic commutation.
The motor uses the separately powered fan-cooling arrangement identified as IC416, which moves air over the enclosed frame to keep winding temperatures within operating limits at low shaft speeds. Under sinusoidal input, the stator can continuously deliver 11.00 kW of mechanical power to the load. The motor reaches a rated shaft speed of approximately 1460 rpm when supplied with a line voltage of 400 V. At this operating point, the available shaft torque is 72.0 Nm, allowing direct coupling to medium-inertia equipment without an external speed reducer. The rated current is 21.0 A, which is suitable for standard contactor and overload relay configurations. A power factor of 0.84 helps limit reactive current drawn from the supply transformer.
The motor has a full-load efficiency of 0.90, reducing the amount of heat that must be removed by the cooling fan. During rapid starts or temporary load increases, the rotor can produce a maximum torque of 166.0 Nm. The motor can reach a maximum mechanical speed of 3800 rpm, subject to the applicable bearing, balance, and driven-equipment limits. The housing, terminal box, and cooling fan have a combined mass of 123.0 kg, so the mounting surface must be sufficiently rigid to limit vibration transfer. During direct-on-line starting, the maximum line current is 43.1 A, which must be considered when selecting circuit protection and switching equipment. The rotor inertia is 0.097 kg·m², and the sound pressure level is 64 dB(A), providing additional data for motion response calculations and enclosure planning.
