Product Description:
The MOT-FC-ET2-B35-355M-4-5CB-250-C3T-HOY is a squirrel-cage induction motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MOT Low Voltage Induction Motors series. It serves as the prime mover in industrial automation lines, where it delivers constant mechanical output to conveyors, pumps, and compressors. A B35 mounting arrangement combines foot and flange interfaces, while matched 6322/C3 bearings on the drive and non-drive ends keep the shaft aligned under radial and axial loads.
The motor’s continuous output is rated at 250 kW, providing the electrical-to-mechanical conversion capacity required for mid-range process equipment. Power is taken from a three-phase supply at 400 V, and the stator windings are connected in a delta pattern to use that line voltage directly. The full-load phase current reaches 425.0 A, which guides cable sizing and overload protection settings. The rotating stator field has a synchronous speed of 1,500 rpm at a supply frequency of 50 Hz. Motor slip reduces the shaft speed to the rated 1480 rpm. At this speed, the machine develops 1,613.2 Nm of torque, providing starting and running torque for high-inertia loads.
Performance under transient conditions is supported by a full-load efficiency of 0.94, which minimizes thermal rise and energy loss during long duty cycles. Momentary demands can raise the stator current to 1062.5 A without exceeding thermal class limits. The rotor can supply a peak torque of 3710.0 Nm for acceleration or upset conditions. Acoustic emission is limited to 82 dB(A), allowing installation in standard production areas without separate sound enclosures. A rotor inertia of 8.02 kg·m² smooths speed changes during load transitions and acceleration. The four-pole design provides a synchronous speed of 1,500 rpm at the base frequency while allowing the rated operating slip. The CIB variant of the non-drive-end bearing uses insulated rolling elements to block circulating currents that could otherwise damage bearing surfaces during extended operation.
