Designed as the passive track that carries the magnetic circuit, it works with the energized primary mover to create precise linear force without gear racks or ball screws. Because the secondary section acts as the fixed reaction surface for the moving primary unit, it supports direct-drive motion with very little mechanical play. By integrating this segment into an axis, the system can perform positioning, conveying, or indexing duties while reducing backlash and maintenance in automated production lines.

The segment’s base plate is made of Steel, providing a stiff mounting surface that resists deflection under magnetic attraction.
