As the active element of a linear servo system, the unit supplies controlled thrust for pick-and-place axes, portal stages, machine-tool feed drives, and other positioning tasks that require smooth translational motion.
The drive generates a continuous thrust of 2415 N, sustained while the coil moves at its nominal speed of 85 m/min.
