Internal Product Review
The MLP070B-0100-FS-N0CN-NQNN is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat synchronous linear motor with liquid cooling and standard encapsulation. Continuous nominal force of 820 N and maximum force of 2600 N give the assembly strong thrust capability for demanding linear motion axes. Wire-conducted front connection supports clean machine integration, and 200 m/min nominal velocity is a strong specification for high-throughput applications.

Product Description:
The MLP070B-0100-FS-N0CN-NQNN is a synchronous linear motor primary section built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MLP Synchronous Linear Motors series. Designed for industrial automation, it converts drive current directly into thrust so carriages or slides can move without screw gearboxes or toothed belts. With a motor size of 070 and length code B, the unit relies on liquid cooling and standard encapsulation to withstand continuous duty while providing precise linear motion for high-speed assembly cells and pick-and-place axes.
During continuous operation, the stator supplies a linear thrust of 820 N while drawing a nominal phase current of 4.6 A. The electromagnetic design yields a force constant of 176.70 N/A, so every ampere increases propulsion proportionally. For short bursts, a peak current of 23.6 A can be applied to reach the motor’s allowed limit of 2600 N. At this overload point, velocity is limited to 100 m/min, whereas at nominal operation it can reach 200 m/min. Heat generated in the copper is removed by liquid channels that hold 0.059 L of coolant. The winding set has a resistance of 14.9 Ω and a back-EMF constant of 101.9 Vs/m. Current regulation from the drive is stabilized by a coil inductance of 89.0 mH.
The cooling circuit must circulate 1.3 L/min to dissipate the stator’s thermal loss of 900 W and keep operating temperatures within limits. The primary exerts an attractive force of 3750 N on the iron secondary, so rigid mounting is required. Pole width is fixed at 37.5 mm, and wires exit through the front face to simplify cable-chain routing. No encoder is installed, so external position feedback must be supplied. Despite the integrated cooling jacket, overall moving mass remains only 10.4 kg, enabling rapid acceleration on gantry or pallet-transfer machines.
