The Bosch Rexroth MKE118B-024-CG0-KUN synchronous motor is associated with a housing designed as per UL standards. The motor features high performance and high operational reliability. The product can be attached to the associated machine easily because of its flange designed in compliance with DIN 42948 specifications. This device comprises a favorable torque to inertia mass ratio that makes it capable of rendering high dynamics. The unit is suitable for deployment in hazardous areas. It should never be used for any application other than industrial use. This motor must neither be installed nor operated if it is either damaged or faulty.

This product depicts a winding code of 24. The device incorporates a vibration severity grade of N according to DIN VDE 0530 specifications. Its flange features a positional accuracy with respect to axial running and true running of the motor. This unit is fitted with an M1 multi-turn optical encoder that helps to control its position and/or speed. The motor comes fitted with a smooth shaft with a shaft sealing ring. This product supports a maximum surface temperature of less than or equal to 135°C. The device is integrated with PTC resistors that offer assurance of a safe and reliable shutdown if this temperature exceeds the specified value.

The motor comes with a 1.7m long connection cable that must be connected in accordance with UL674*ANSI 674 standards. The power and encoder cables used with the product have to be passed through the EExd cable duct into the terminal box and connected there using the screw terminal and plug connector. The terminal box deployed for the electrical connection is positioned on top of the device. The unit supports a maximum installation elevation of 1,000m over sea level. Its drive shaft and housing feature an IP 65 protection rating with correct assembly. The synchronous motor is available with a year’s Wake Industrial warranty and is transported in custom military-grade packaging.
