The MKE118B-024-CG0-KUN servo motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MKE Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use in potentially explosive areas and uses a terminal box mounted on the top of the housing for power and feedback wiring. The enclosure follows UL and CSA requirements, which supports use in regulated industrial installations. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so loads must be secured by external means when power is removed. A plain shaft with a frontal centering hole, a DIN 332 DS thread, and an integral shaft seal supports direct coupling while helping maintain ingress protection.
