The MKE118D-035-DG0-KUN is a new generation industrial motor designed by Rexroth Indramat to supply industrial servo systems with the kinetic energy they require for optimum operation. This motor is designed with an enclosure that effectively protects its internal components from foreign solid particles and water jet directed at it from any angle. The application of this motor in production systems is cost-effective as the motor can operate with high efficiency for more than five years without breaking down; thus the operator does not need to spend on any major maintenance or repair operation. This motor is a permanent magnet motor with a brushless design, it contains an internal battery that serves as an alternative source of electrical energy and allows the motor encoder memory to hold important information when even when it is not actively receiving electrical current from the motor controller.
The MKE118D-035-DG0-KUN industrial controller can stimulate industrial motors to generate a power output of about 35 kilowatts. The electrical components of the controller generate electromagnetic fields under normal operating conditions, thus persons wearing cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids, or any other device sensitive to this field should not be allowed to move near the motor.
