The MKE118D-035-DG0-KE6 industrial drive motor is one of the latest and most sophisticated productions of Rexroth Indramat. This industrial motor is widely renowned for its high durability and service life, under ideal operating conditions, this servo motor can operate at a top level for more than five years with an efficiency as high as 95 percent. This servo motor can rotate over a broad speed range, it is thus perfectly suited for different industrial machines such as food processing machines, conveyor machines, metal forming machines, and lots more. The electrical components of the MKE118D-035-DG0-KE6 industrial motor can also generate a leakage current as high as 3.5 milliamperes, it is thus important for the motor to be securely connected to a grounding system before it is operated in the servo system.
The encoder of this motor is a Multiturn-Absolut EnDat2.1 Optical encoder with 2,048 increments, this encoder provides the operator with digital signals that describe the physical operation of the motor. The optical encoder integrated into this industrial motor also contains a data memory which allows the motor to start up quickly and to retain important operational information even when it has been disconnected from the power supply. The output shaft of the MKE118D-035-DG0-KE6 industrial drive is a plain smooth steel shaft integrated with a sealing ring. The motor also contains a terminal box through which electrical cables enter the motor, the cable entry diameter of this terminal box is about 19.5 millimeters.
This industrial motor generates a rated power output of 35 Kilowatts, it can also draw a maximum current of about 135 Amperes from the industrial servo drive.
