The MKE118D-027-NP0-KUN is a flame-proof servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MKE Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for motion axes located in potentially explosive areas where an electric drive must supply closed-loop torque without generating hot surfaces or sparks. A terminal-box on the top of the housing provides power and feedback access, and the IP65 enclosure keeps dust and low-pressure water jets from reaching internal windings.

At standstill and with a 60 K winding temperature rise, the motor delivers a continuous torque of 48.0 Nm while drawing a continuous phase current of 22.1 A.
