The Bosch Rexroth MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN is a 5000 RPM rated servo motor with a housing that complies with the UL standard. MKE motors are made using permanent magnets with electronic commutation. Characteristic advantages offered by MKE motors include high operational reliability, maintenance-free operation, overload protection, high performance data, high dynamics, high overload capability, continuous start-stop operation and easy machine attachment. Like other motors that are part of the MKE series, the MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN is a motor designed specifically for applications that involve control system operation in hazardous areas. For this reason the motor housing is IP65 rated which makes it impervious to dust and water jets. The motor shaft also comes with a sealing ring. The motor shaft on the MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN has a key as per DIN 6885-1. The electrical connection on the MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN is available through a terminal box installed on side A of the motor.
The MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN motor does not feature a holding brake. However holding brakes are available as an option and can be ordered depending on customer requirements. The MKE098B-058-CP0-AUNN motor supports feedback through a built-in optical encoder. The encoder is a multiturn encoder rated for 128 increments. Additional encoder specifications include 4096 distinguishable revolutions, 12-bit resolution, 128 lines, ±120 angular seconds system accuracy, 9000 RPM maximum encoder speed and 7 to 12 Volts supply voltage. The terminal time constant of the motor is 60 minutes. The sound pressure level is 61.8 dB with ±3 dB variation. Insulation class of the motor is 155 as per DIN EN 60034-1. The motor should be used with compatible drive controllers manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The motor should be installed by trained personnel and in accordance with instructions detailed in the documentation. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
