The MKE series MKE047B-144-CP1-BENN is a servo motor designed according to the ATEX standard. It can be used in areas where there is potential for explosions. Some features of the MKR series motors are high dynamics, high overload capability, continuous start-stop operation, maximum torque usable across a wide speed range, high reliability and high performance. MKE series motors are suitable for industrial applications involving machine tools, metal-forming machines, printing and paper processing machines and food processing machines. Additional sensors and actuators may be required for the control and monitoring of MKE series motors. Any drive that is connected to a MKE motor must be programmed before startup so that the motor executes the functions for the application. MKE series motors must be operated according to the instructions contained in the product manual.
The MKE047B-144-CP1-BENN has a maximum rated speed of 7000 RPM. Integrated features that are available on the motor include optical encoder, 2.2 Nm rated holding brake and shaft with key and sealing ring. A terminal box located on side B can be used for making electrical connections to the MKE047B-144-CP1-BENN. The optical encoder supports the Hiperface protocol and is rated for 128 increments.
