This servo motor is intended for potentially explosive areas where precise torque delivery and safe operation are needed in process lines, mixers, or conveying stages. The enclosure carries an IP65 rating, which blocks dust ingress and protects against low-pressure water jets so the stator windings remain dry during washdown cleaning. Its insulation system is class 155 (F), allowing the copper to reach 155 °C without degradation during normal thermal loading. Thermal limits align with an ambient range of 0 to +40 °C, letting the unit operate in standard industrial environments without derating. The stator is wound to code 144, providing resistance and inductance values matched to compatible MKE drives for smooth vector control. Power and feedback conductors exit on the right side, simplifying cable routing when several motors are mounted in line. These leads terminate in a terminal box, which provides threaded glands for armored conduit commonly used in hazardous zones. Axial load transmission is handled by a shaft equipped with a DIN 6885 keyway, so couplings can be locked mechanically without set-screw slippage. The shaft has a shaft seal, which helps prevent vapor or fine dust from entering the bearing cavity during operation.
