The MKE037B-144-GP0-BENN is a Rexroth MKE synchronous motor for use in potentially explosive areas. It features a shaft with key. The motor’s housing design follows ATEX standards which allows the motor to be resistance to flammable substances whether in the form of cloud deposits, gas, or vapor. To easily control the position and or speed, the MKE037B-144-GP0-BENN supports an encoder. Note that the encoder has a data memory that stores the motor name, motor parameters, and control loop parameters to ensure an easy and quick startup and adaptation between the drive controller and the motor with minimal chances of damaging the motor. Indramat’s MKE037B-144-GP0-BENN has an international protection rating of IP65. This protection type provides total protection against dust and water coming from a nozzle.
