The MKE037B-144-GG0-BENN synchronous motor from Bosch Rexroth is specially designed for use in potentially explosive areas. The motor is compatible with a single-machine design. The product renders high functionality when it is used with a drive from the manufacturer. The device is designed according to EN 60079-0/1/31 specifications. The unit belongs to the manufacturer’s MKE product group of such motors. It features permanent magnets in its rotor and supports electronic commutation. The synchronous motor features low inertia because of the choice of special materials for its magnets. This product must be used as intended and only for industrial applications.
The motor should not be modified structurally. The device can be used as a rotary main motor or a servo drive motor.
