The MKE037B-144-CP1-BE0N is a synchronous servo motor created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the MKE Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for potentially explosive areas, so it can be used on drives that require accurate position or speed control in paint booths, chemical mixers, and other hazardous industrial zones. As a synchronous servo motor, it works with a matched drive to deliver controlled rotary motion for automated axes. Because the motor is intended for hazardous locations, it suits installations where ignition risks must be controlled without giving up servo-level motion performance.
Its enclosure carries an ingress rating of IP 65, which helps block dust and low-pressure water jets during industrial use. Continuous duty is permitted from 0 … +40 °C, and operation above that range requires derating to limit winding temperature rise. Power and signal leads exit on the B-side, and they terminate inside a sealed terminal box that supports protected cable entry in classified areas. Insulation class 155 (F) helps the motor withstand elevated internal temperatures during sustained operation. A shaft seal also helps keep lubricant in place and reduces the chance of vapors entering the bearing chamber.

Position feedback is provided by an optical multi-turn absolute Hiperface encoder identified as model M1, and the encoder provides 128 increments per revolution for closed-loop control. The multi-turn feedback arrangement also allows the connected drive to track rotor position accurately across several revolutions during speed regulation and positioning tasks.
